The Operator Mindset: What 28 Years of Building Businesses Teaches About Growth

Lessons in building durable, revenue-generating businesses drawn from an entrepreneurial career spanning multiple sectors.

Over more than 28 years of entrepreneurial and corporate experience, Ritesh Mani has built and scaled four separate businesses to more than $10 million in revenue within three years of launch, across technology, sales and marketing, real estate, property development and financial services. Companies under his leadership have achieved combined revenues exceeding $275 million.

That range of experience — from launching a mobile phone retail start-up at 22 that grew to seven stores nationwide, to holding senior roles within four publicly listed companies — has shaped a consistent operating philosophy: growth strategies need to be grounded in how a business actually runs, not just how it markets itself.

It is why Ritesh has spent his career close to execution — building franchise systems, advising financial planning firms and investment houses on their marketing and operational systems, and later building and leading a 16-person sales team at Sales Dynamics that improved outbound conversion rates from 4% to 18% within three months.

That operator's perspective now informs the strategic work carried out through Acendia Agency, where growth recommendations are shaped by commercial reality rather than marketing theory alone.
